- Subject hunting portrait of a huntsmen gentleman on the Worcestershire Hunt who is in full side profile facing left trotting along the grass, riding up on his favourite bay hunter named Pug. He is holding the reigns in one hand and carrying his horse whip, he is wearing traditional white trousers with black riding boots & a black jacket also with tall black top hat. Sloping open countryside Worcestershire hills & trees also hedges in the distance, further back to the right are a mixed group of 6 other hunstmen wearing red and black coats, riding greys & bay horse. On the left flank further back are 3 other huntmen on horseback with a group of dogs scenthounds, above with scattered grey clouds with areas of blue shining through.

- Artist biography Leesa Sandys-Lumsdaine was a British Postwar & Contemporary artist, she was born in Worcestershire in the year 1936, she died in 1985. Leesa Sandys-Lumsdaine's works fetch up to 8,050 US dollars at auction houses worldwide. She is well known for specialising in painting equestrian & hunting subjects. One of her paintings hangs in the collection of the National Trust, Lodge Park & Sherborne Estate.
