- A good size with the frame being 77.5 cm wide and 52.5 cm high.
- Set in an impressive sweeping gilt molded decorative frame which further enhances the painting.

- Your focus is first drawn to the central area where you can see Bogwood lake with the light shown reflecting off the water, with green and bulrushes all along the bank edges shown on the far side. Further over you can see a small flock of ducks grouped together close to the reeds. In the foreground you can see the edge of the lush short, cut green golf course, the 18th hole sloping down converging with taller brown grass along the center. Further back, the putting green is the 18th hole with a flag pole on. With the clubhouse further back and an impressive huge tall tree which is right next to it, with many smaller trees along in the background, with blue sky showing through with some cloud cover above.

David Morgan trained at the Southampton College of Art and Design. After he completed his studies, he chose to travel extensively around Western Europe to earn artistic experience. He lived in Paris for a while, where he gained the confidence and ability which makes his work outstanding among his contemporaries. - Only a few artists can emulate his fabulous gift for distance, detail and lighting in his wonderful landscapes around rural England. takes almost photographic quality takes you onto a journey into the painting, as though you are actually participating in the view. So compelling are his works of art that his reputation has excelled way beyond his original Hampshire beginnings.
