Trinidad Ball is an internationally recognised contemporary British realist painter, born in Barcelona to Catalan parents. Having lived in Spain, Latin America and England, she trained at Central Saint Martins, Putney School of Art and South Thames College before becoming a full-time professional artist in 2003.
Her paintings have been exhibited widely throughout Britain and internationally, including the Mall Galleries, the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition, the Society of Women Artists, The London Group Open, and the Affordable Art Fair in both London and New York.
In 2008 she received the prestigious ING Maynell Fenton Prize, recognising her outstanding contribution to contemporary painting.
Ball's work is celebrated for its exploration of atmosphere, light and emotional connection. Her paintings frequently reflect themes of solitude, companionship, memory and the healing qualities of the natural world, making her work highly desirable among collectors of contemporary British realism.

Presented in very good original condition.
The original oil surface is well preserved, retaining its delicate glazes, subtle tonal transitions and refined palette. No visible evidence of restoration, overpainting, flaking or structural concerns is apparent under normal inspection. A few light surface scuffs and fine scratches are visible on close examination, consistent with careful handling.
The original painted wooden gallery frame displays expected age and handling wear, including minor scuffs, small paint losses and occasional edge knocks, particularly around several corners. There are also discreet historic touch-ups to some corner edges.
The reverse retains both the original titled and dated artist's label and the original Ingo Fincke Gallery & Framersbacking board, providing excellent documentary provenance.
Overall, this is a beautifully preserved example that presents exceptionally well and is ready for immediate display.
