- Neil Cox is a known British Postwar artist who was born in the year 1955 down south, he grew up in London & he loved the natural environment and he painted animals especially birds from when he was very young. Its is known that he spent a lot of his spare time outside of his further education studies in the New Forest National Park where he watched & painted animals, particularly birds where his favourite subject. He became a professional wildlife artist, he has exhibited and sold his works at many auction galleries & houses around the world like Christie’s, the current highest sold price is $4,597 US dollars which was for the work Pheasants foraging in bracken.

- The grey partridge (Perdix perdix), also known as the grey-legged partridge, English partridge, Hungarian partridge, or hun, is a gamebird in the pheasant family Phasianidae of the order Galliformes, gallinaceous birds. The scientific name is the Latin for "partridge", and is itself derived from Ancient Greek perdix.
The grey partridge is a rotund bird, brown-backed, with grey flanks and chest. The belly is white, usually marked with a large chestnut-brown horse-shoe mark in males, and also in many females. Hens lay up to twenty eggs in a ground nest. The nest is usually in the margin of a cereal field, most commonly winter wheat. - An exceptional sought after collectible artwork.
