Presented in good vintage decorative condition.
The oil on canvas displays attractively overall, with warm colour, strong decorative presence and pleasing age-related character. Close inspection reveals expected surface wear including scuffs, scratches, varnish streak abrasions, surface marks and small areas of paint loss commensurate with age, handling and display.
There is surface rubbing and wear in darker passages, together with age-related craquelure and areas of surface dirt. These imperfections do not materially detract from the overall decorative impact.
The canvas appears stable and structurally sound. The decorative gilt frame shows expected minor cosmetic wear, rubbing and age-related marks.
