Secure Payment methods we accept

Full Payment - Full settlement of invoice(s) is required within 3 working days of the sale.  Please note that we do not accept cheques or bank drafts.

Online Card Payments - buyer not present will only be accepted up to our floor limit £1999 GBP and item(s) will not be released for 7 working days and must be delivered to the buyers same card registered address. All Item(s) above our floor limit £1999 will need to be settled by bank transfer. We will email you a proforma invoice with our bank details.

Overseas Buyers: When ordering we require payment by bank transfer only.    Prospective Buyers new to Cheshire Antiques Consultant LTD may be asked to supply bank & trade references. Payment for purchased Item(s) must be made by the registered Buyer, payment by a third party will be refused.  Payments may be made in cash on collection only (up to £8,000). Payments can be made by debit card in person only, and not by telephone. Title of the item(s) transfers to the Buyer only when full payment is made & cleared in full. We will email you a proforma invoice with our bank details.

We can accept a deposit payment, the balance must be cleared within 1 month or the sale will be nil & voided and deposits are non refundable.

England, Scotland & Wales Mainland Shipping Options

We offer Free Standard Delivery to Mainland England, Wales & Scottish Mainland areas only. This is door to door service only 1 person courier.
For Scottish Highlands & all Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle Of Man – Please contact us so we can get a shipping quote for you.
For express shipping 1 person courier door to door only we charge £65 for items up to 50kg in weight, over 50kg price £99 and for over 250kg items price £149.
You can select the following options standard or express shipping, domestic mainland parcel and van courier delivery with online tracking. Our dispatch time is 1 working day, express delivery 1 to 2 working days also with Standard shipping delivery time between 2-4 working days, economy delivery 5-7 working days with insurance.  
Clients with access requirements such as penthouses & upper floor flats, also any upstairs areas there will be a surcharge additional cost to you if we need to hire 2 persons to carry & courier delivery your item(s) inside your home.
if you can let us know once you have placed your order.

If you require specialist careful assembly or installation, next day delivery or delivery to any locations upstairs there will be an additional surcharge fee please ask for a quote.
We have a team of our regular specialist professional experienced reliable UK mainland van couriers. Together with select parcel post shipping. As well as using parcel post & door to door van couriers, such as the following list below.

International Worldwide Global Shipping Is Available
We offer standard & express worldwide shipping service with insurance, delivery times between 3 and 10 working days approximate. Contact us so we can get you today's best possible shipping quote price for you.
Customs Payment & Brexit
Cheshire Antiques Consultant  operates on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis which means that the International buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes & customs which may be necessary to release an order from international customs.
Following the UK leaving the EU on 1st January 2021 (BREXIT) there have been some changes to customs & duty charges for EU customers. Tax and import duty varies from country to country so we recommend you check with your local tax office to see if any fees will be payable.
If the customer refuses to pay any duty and customs charges and the parcel is returned to sender all shipping charges will be deducted from any refund.
We would also require The buyer receiver's VAT/Tax ID number (CUIT or CUIL or CDI in Argentina) is required for clearance of goods. Please ensure that you include it when you order at checkout leave a message or email us. Shipments without this information will not be cleared by Customs and will be transited to a general cargo warehouse rather than delivered door-to-door, incurring delays and additional costs. Shipments not cleared from the warehouse within 30 days will be returned to sender, which will take up to 90 days.

Customers can collect in person or by booking your own courier to collect 
Is most welcome by prior arrangement from our 2 warehouse locations in Chester & Shropshire. As long as payment is either cash on collection or by bank transfer only.

We professionally bespoke carefully pack & wrap every item using bubblewrap, polystrene & cardboard packaging.

We are happy to store items free of charge for a period of up to 2 weeks should you wish to delay delivery for whatever reason. As long as payment is by bank transfer or cash on collection.

Where can I purchase your products?

You can purchase in our online gallery. Do you offer Free international delivery?

(No we do charge for all international and overseas shipping costs our rates our are calculated at checkout.

Do you offer prompt UK delivery?

(Yes standard delivery between 2 to 4 working days UK Mainland Only.)

Do you offer online tracking?

(Yes for UK & all International orders. 

Can you offer UK next day express delivery service?

(Yes we can UK Mainland only & there would be an additional surcharge for Express next day delivery. Please ask for a quote thankyou. Except for larger furniture & heavy stone items which take longer to arrange delivery please ask).

Can I specify a specific delivery day?

(Yes you can for UK Mainland only Though we can't provide exact delivery times. Generally between 8am and 7pm With Parcelforce, Myhermes, DHL, TNT, DPD & National Pallets. If your out we can have your parcel left with a neighbour or safe Place. We can request from the courier a morning, afternoon or evening delivery but we cannot guarantee times.)

Do you provide shipping insurance?

(Without prejudice insurance is included as standard for UK Mainland & International delivery, except for paintings where only the painting surface is insured we do not insure the frames, any damage that may occur to frames is not covered by insurance and we do not hold responsibility for frames!)

Can you ship internationally?

(Yes we can please ask for todays international shipping rates.)

Are you open to the public or allow viewings?

(We are only strictly by appointments only at our home location. Please telephone or email to make book an appointment.

What payment do you accept?

(We Accept Paypal, Stripe & Debit, Credit Card Payments Online. Primary payment is by International bank wire transfer & domestic BACS. We can email you an invoice with our banking instructions. Deposit payments are also accepted).

Do you sell to the UK & International trade at wholesale prices?

(Yes we do sell to the UK trade & International trade at wholesale discounted prices. Please provide us with proof of your business card or website & we can supply you with our trade price rates).
