- Cauldron Limited worked in Staffordshire, Great Britain, and went through many name changes.
- John Ridgway made porcelain at Cauldron Place, Hanley, until 1855.
- The firm of John Ridgway, Bates and Co. of Cauldron Place worked from 1856 to 1859.
- It became Bates, Brown-Westhead, Moore and Co. from 1859 to 1862. Brown-Westhead, Moore and Co worked from 1862 to 1904.
- Around 1890, this firm started using the words Cauldron or Cauldon Ware as part of the mark.

- Having various noticeable wear, age marks, stains, scuffs, & a chip on the top inner rim commensurate with usage & age.
